I Have Seen the 7th Layer of Hell...

...and it's Chris Berman interviewing Joe Morgan on Baseball Tonight.

God, stop playing skee-ball on the boardwalk and call Berman home already. Or at least call him away from the ESPN studios.

At least ESPN is "consistent" in constantly putting bad sports journalists on TV without giving them some kind of coaching or what not to do or say on TV. Joe Morgan may have been a great player in his day, but for the love of God, the man does not belong on the screen. He makes Ted Marchibroda look like Ernie Harwell sometimes. Do the producers put Joe on the air hoping that people will watch just to hear how bad he is?

Chris Berman just needs to be shot or turned into glue. His shtick was funny way back when, but now it is tired and hasn't been funny since the turn of the century. Reminds me of someone else I know...

Putting the two of them together just boggles the mind. What other combo from hell can we put together...

Coming up next we'll have Magic Johnson and Chevy Chase getting together to co-host a late-night talk show featuring Yoko Ono as the band leader with tonight's guests Kato Kailan, Yippie the back-flipping dog, music by the Doobie Brothers with a special appearance by Pat Sajek!

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I agree on all counts. Watching anything with Berman is painful, but Baseball Tonight especially so.

Good to see a Yippie the Back-Flipping Dog reference--it makes up for mentioning the Doobie Brothers.

Remember, it's the 7th layer of hell! I'm assuming your hell would have the Doobie Brothers in its jukebox.
